Large language models and AI-powered platforms are becoming a new access layer between scientific evidence and the people who need it. Whether a physician in São Paulo, a patient in Tokyo, or a medical affairs professional in London, the answer they receive to a clinical query may no longer come from a journal, congress, doctor or an MSL. The quality of your science no longer guarantees its visibility. The structure, metadata, format, and licensing context of your content now shape whether AI systems find it, rank it, trust it, and represent it accurately — in any language, in any region.

Developed from sessions presented at ISMPP-EU 2026 and the ISMPP Annual Meeting 2026, this global ISMPP U headline webinar will explain how AI systems find and use scientific content; demonstrate the content architecture choices that determine whether evidence is retrieved accurately or overlooked; and gives the global Med Comms community a practical, honest, and globally relevant framework for making scientific content discoverable, accurate, and trusted in the LLM era. Attendees leave with immediately actionable strategies and a whole new way of thinking about the content they create.


This webinar will enable participants to:
  • Describe how the discovery and consumption of scientific evidence is changing and explain how large language models and AI-powered answer engines source, rank, summarize, and contextualize medical communications content.
  • Apply a practical content framework to strengthen the discoverability, accuracy, and trustworthiness of scientific/medical communications content — across formats, platforms, languages, and regions, giving good science the best possible chance of being retrieved, correctly interpreted, and ranked by AI systems.
  • Navigate the global AI governance landscape, including the EU AI Act, the European Commission's May 2026 Living Guidelines on Generative AI in Research, and other regulations across the US, UK, Asia, and beyond — and translate these into transparent, accountable, and compliant AI practices within everyday medical communications workflows.
